India, UK to launch global solar grid project at COP26******

India and the United Kingdom will launch a project that aims to create a solar grid connecting countries in different parts of the world at the United Nations climate talks in Glasgow, Scotland.。

The project, known as the "Green Grids Initiative," is being initiated by the International Solar Alliance, which was launched by India and France at the 2015 Paris climate conference to promote solar energy. The UK and India agreed to join forces in the initiative in May this year.。

Although solar energy is becoming cheaper than dirtier alternatives, countries cannot rely on it at night and must fall back on fossil fuels that produce earth-warming greenhouse gases. This is especially the case in countries like India, where demand for power is soaring.。

The new project is based on the idea that the sun is always shining in some part of the world, and the project aims to create a global grid that will transfer the sun's power from one place to another, said Ajay Mathur, director general of the International Solar Alliance.。

"For example, when it is dark in east Asia, it's still light in India... If there was a cable between India and east Asia, that solar electricity could be provided to east Asia," he noted.。

The idea of a grid spanning regions is not new, but this is the first attempt to create a global network.。

Mathur said estimates showed that in the next three years, solar power will become as cheap as power from fossil fuels, which will make it easier to build new solar power plants and storage facilities. But even then it will require countries with different priorities to reach complex agreements.。

陕西省疾控专家张义:西安有必要启动大规模核酸筛查******

  西部网讯(记者刘望)“为了尽快尽早的发现感染者,防止疫情扩散,最大程度的保障西安市民的健康安全,经专家组评估认为,有必要在此时开展西安市大规模病毒核酸筛查。”今天(3月7日)上午,陕西省疾控中心传染病预防控制所所长张义接受西部网·陕西头条记者采访时说。

  张义介绍,本次疫情病毒基因测序结果是奥密克戎BA2亚型,奥密克戎毒株的传染性强,BA2亚型传染力较之前流行的BA1高大约30%,传播速度快,这一点印证了奥密克戎BA2亚型的传染性强特点。

  张义说,从西安市3月5日凌晨3点报告首例以来,在同航班上已陆续发现4名病例,其中2例已返回外省。疫情发现前,这4例病例存在较长时间,较大范围的社会面活动。比如宾馆、餐厅、医院、市场和地铁、公交车等公共交通工具,密接排查工作有一定的难度。

  “因此,担心有可能漏掉个别接触者。所以,为了尽快尽早的发现感染者,防止疫情扩散,最大程度地保障西安市民的健康安全,经专家组评估认为,有必要在此时开展西安市大规模病毒核酸筛查。”张义说。

  张义表示,市民朋友不必恐慌,目前疫情仍可控制,尚未出现感染来源不明的病例。“我们相信,随着各项防控措施的推进疫情很快会控制住。”

经济观察网 记者 程久龙 雅居乐在高调宣布进军武汉房地产市场的四年后,其首个项目“武汉雅居乐国际花园”的开发主体——武汉长凯物业发展有限公司及其股东中盈长江国际新能源投资有限公司的实际控制人均双双陷入诉讼纠纷。

据经济观察网记者查询了解,武汉长凯物业发展有限公司(以下简称“武汉长凯”)原为阳光凯迪新能源集团有限公司(以下简称“阳光凯迪”),通过中盈长江国际新能源投资有限公司(以下简称“中盈长江”)间接控股的附属公司。阳光凯迪持有中盈长江80%股权,在雅居乐入股前,中盈长江曾持有武汉长凯100%股权。

阳光凯迪的法人代表和实际控制人则是在武汉当地政商两届颇有知名度的民营企业家——陈义龙。陈义龙同时也是阳光凯迪旗下上市公司凯迪生态(000939)董事长。

2005年,武汉长凯获得了一宗位于武汉市江夏区庙山办事处邬树村的地块,临近汤逊湖及江夏大道,总用地面积约406,582.82平方米,土地使用权的登记编号为鄂(2016)武汉市江夏不动产权第0000388号,该地块用途为住宅,为期70年——这即是今天“武汉雅居乐国际花园”项目地块。

2016年11月9日,雅居乐集团控股有限公司(股票代码HK3383)通过其间接全资附属公司南京雅居乐与独立第三方中盈长江、武汉长凯及阳光凯迪订立的合资协议。南京雅居乐将武汉长凯注入3亿元作为其新注册资本,并取得其50%的股份权益;以及向长凯提供30亿元的贷款,经南京雅居乐及长凯批准,该贷款继而由长凯借给中盈用作偿还中盈及阳光凯迪的第三方贷款,该笔贷款须计息。

由此,雅居乐正式吹响了进军武汉市场的“号角”,通过武汉长凯参与邬树村的地块的开发。而据经济观察网记者调查,尽管该项目以“武汉雅居乐国际花园”命名,但根据雅居乐(股票代码HK3383)此前发布的合资协议,在该项目中,雅居乐则主要提供“管理服务”和“协助开发”。武汉长凯的财务业绩、资产及负债不会与雅居乐集团综合入账,武汉长凯也不会成为雅居乐集团附属公司。

与此相关的一个细节是,在雅居乐的官方网站上,“武汉雅居乐国际花园”这个项目并不存在。4月19日,经济观察网记者曾就此询问武汉雅居乐项目相关负责人,但截至发稿未获回复。

除南京雅居乐之外,“武汉雅居乐国际花园”开发主体武汉长凯的另一个唯一股东,则是持股50%的中盈长江。而中盈长江的控股股东阳光凯迪及其法人代表陈义龙,近年来可谓诉讼缠身。

2018年5月开始,阳光凯迪控股的上市公司凯迪生态(000939)爆发债务危机,受此影响阳光凯迪、陈义龙等部分相关资产已被债权人通过诉讼法院轮番冻结。因无力偿债,阳光凯迪和陈义龙已被多家法院列入失信被执行人名单。经济观察网获得的最新消息显示,阳光凯迪已被证监会立案调查。

屋漏偏逢连夜雨,就在武汉长凯的股东中盈长江的实际控制人诉讼缠身之际。“武汉雅居乐国际花园”的开发商武汉长凯自身,也将面临一场来自购房者的集体诉讼。4月20日,经济观察网记者采访获悉,至少有超过100名以上的业主,因不满与开发商签订的《委托装修协议》而发起集体诉讼,已将武汉长凯告上法庭。原告的诉讼请求是,判令《委托装修协议》无效,并退还装修费。

据经济观察网记者了解,自武汉房产销售“限价”以来,开发商通过以毛坯房备案,捆绑精装修,变相的“增厚”销售利润,已成业内通行做法。因此,该案的最终判决,引起了武汉房地产开发企业、政府监管部门、购房者等各方的极大关注。

经济观察网记者查看该案的法院传票显示,该项集体诉讼已被武汉市江夏区人民法院受理立案,并将于4月下旬分批开庭。经济观察网记者将对此持续关注。

Economic Watch: China's manufacturing offers support for global energy transformation******

HEFEI, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- With a total capacity of 418 kilowatts, a rooftop power plant in Indonesia is converting solar power into electricity for the energy consumption of a bottled water factory underneath.。

The inverters, one of the key components of the power plant, are from the Chinese renewable energy company, Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., in Hefei, capital of east China's Anhui Province.。

As one of the participants of the fourth World Manufacturing Convention held from Nov. 19 to 22 in Hefei, Sungrow is among those Chinese manufacturers that play an essential role in promoting energy transformation worldwide.。

"We have established branches in 20 countries and regions. Our products have been exported to 150 countries and regions. As of June this year, over 182 GW of inverter equipment has been installed worldwide," said Xu Yiguo, a senior manager with Sungrow.。

According to a report issued by the International Energy Association (IEA) this year, China is the largest manufacturer of key clean energy technologies such as solar panels and EV batteries. It is home to 70 percent of global manufacturing capacity for electric vehicle batteries and its solar photovoltaics (PV) capacity additions have outpaced those of any other country.。

Another participant of the World Manufacturing Convention, battery cell manufacturer Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd., brought their latest lithium batteries and energy storage equipment.。

"As key components of new energy vehicles, our batteries have been exported to many countries including the UK, India and the Netherlands," said Zhang Yang, a senior executive of the marketing department of Gotion High-tech, adding that their overseas income reached 168 million yuan (about 26 million U.S. dollars) during the first half of this year, an increase of 102 percent year on year.。

According to Zhang, to ensure stable supply to the global market, the company has built a complete industrial chain from lithium ores to battery recycling.。

Reaching carbon neutrality and promoting energy transformation hinges on a major acceleration in clean energy innovation.。

China is emerging as a world leader in clean energy innovation: public spending on low-carbon energy research and development (R&D) in China has risen by 70 percent since 2015. China accounts for nearly 10 percent of patenting activity in renewables and EVs, said the report of IEA.。

"We have been innovating technology and applied for over 3,100 patents as of now. The cost of PV power is decreasing thanks to innovation and is even lower than thermal power in some countries, thus promoting the installation of PV plants around the world," said Xu Yiguo of Sungrow.。

Gotion High-tech has also invested heavily in R&D. "We built six R&D platforms worldwide and cooperate with well-known universities to cultivate R&D personnel. In 2020, the R&D investment hit 696 million yuan," said Zhang.。

Besides exporting products, Gotion High-tech also cooperated with an Indian vehicle company to build a battery factory in India and built a new energy production base in Europe.。
